Thomas Mann once said, "Tolerance becomes a crime when applied to evil."
"A woman's heart should be so hidden in Christ that a man will have to seek Him first in order to find her."
"For it has pleased God to tell His people that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. For this is the secret: Christ lives in you, and this is your assurance that you will share in His glory." Colossians 1:27
"I couldn't wait for success, so I went on without it." Johanathan Winters

I just love this line in the song Ten Years Gone:
Then as it was-then again it will be, and though the course may change sometimes, rivers always reach the sea.
Tilly's Song is all about Courage
I like this quote from Mary Ann Radmacher: "Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow."

WHAT IS TILLY'S SONG ABOUT?
The Novel
Countless stories of today tell of the darkness within the human soul. Yet the stories that must live on, to be told to each generation, are the tales of victorious living that call to the human heart to achieve more in life than anyone can think or dream possible. These are the stories of over-comers, whom faced with adversity and crisis choose goodness, mercy, love, and life in every circumstance. This novel is a universal and timeless story of restoration worthy of being retold. An audience of readers within the age group of mid-teen and older will discover how hope is found by the characters of this story.
Tilly’s Song, the first book of a trilogy, is about a woman who never thought of herself as brave, courageous, or heroic. Often she believed herself to be easily frightened and lacking strength. The story begins in the 1890’s when Mathilda Baumann and her daughter, Marie, are left as sole survivors of a terrible illness that kills their entire village in northern Germany. Inspired to leave all she has known in life, Mathilda and her young child leave Europe and travel to America. Every part of their journey is met with grave challenges, as well as adventures. The rural life of Germany is soon replaced with city living full of different kinds of people, customs, and languages. The grief that follows them into their new land gives way to an abundant life neither could have ever imagined. The physical journey becomes a spiritual one that tests and refines Mathilda’s faith. People, with whom she meets along the way, encourage her personal faith. This increased faith then propels healing within her heart and spirit, allowing restoration necessary to build a new life. Once Mathilda’s grief is resolved, she then chooses to live and love again. She recognizes what God has done throughout her life is what makes life great.
I love my life! At 20, I traveled to Europe and saw everything I wanted to see and experience.30, my dream of Alaska, in part, came true; I took a cruise up the inland passage. By the time I was 40, I was working in Alaska, married and had 5 children. Also when I turned 40, I wanted to see the South Pacific. Our family traveled to the Cook Islands and visited Paradise. I told myself that when I turned 50 I wanted to do something with space travel. In 2000, Phil and I went to French Guiana, South America, to watch the launching of his company's satellite.I have had a secret desire to go to Israel and Greece. In 1999 we went to Israel and this year we are going to Greece. Now that I'm 60, I decided to swim with the dolphins. So Isaac my grandson and I went to San Diego and swam with some adult and baby dolphins. I am currently learning Tai Chi and Qui gong so I can make my body strong enough to learn how to tap dance. My children and grandchildren are healthy and prospering, my husband is wonderful, I have great friends, church, home, money, food, and cars that work. I am rich in love and life experiences and I am grateful. Now you can see why I love my life!
Well congratulations! Hope your novel is a great success. I plan to get to Amazon and order it later today. My mom will be so proud of you!
